Ornithogalum White

Rs. 650

Also known as Star of Bethlehem, Chincherinchee and Wonder Flower. And since even Chincherinchee is a bit of a mouthful they are also called Chincs or Chin Chins.

Native to South Africa, their tall spiked stem is covered with star-shaped, bell-like flowers that are very decorative, blooming individually in circles carried at the top of leafless stems.

These beauty’s have such long vase life, don’t require much maintenance once picked (no need to change water daily like most other flowers) and are so versatile in any arrangement.

The reason why they are also called Wonder Flower is because they last a long time after being cut. They are also called Florist's Nightmare because they last so long and can reach their peak flowering two weeks after being sold, often lasting even up to a month.

These little guys start like bullets and don't look very exciting, but slowly they open up into amazing flowery balls. And they last for what seems like forever. Also, many people dry them when they are fully open! Such a great long lasting early summer flower.
