Zingiber, Red

Commonly also called Pine Cone Ginger, Beehive Ginger and Shampoo Ginger, the red Zingiber provides interesting material for long-lasting tropical cut flower arrangements. Because they are so showy, you should pair them with other vibrant tropical flowers that will hold their own. Other showy vase companions include alstroemeria, orchids, calla lilies, torch gingers or bird-of-paradise.

The strong sculptural aspect of this red ginger makes it a natural fit for modern ikebana arrangements. The flowers also stand out in large arrangements and won't wilt when displayed outdoors like a a lot of other more delicate flowers.

Will last for over fifteen days in the vase if the care instructions are followed.
