The battle for sweetness is on. As soon as sweet corn is harvested the sugars start turning to starch. Hence the need to eat the corn early to get its best flavours. We have set procedures for early morning harvest followed by chilling in our prechilling facilities to 2-4 C to remove the field heat and get our sweet corn to the market on the same day. Taste the difference good planning can achieve.
